Adjust the iStick i40 in watts or volts

The Eleaf iStick i40 offers two ways to adjust your atomizer’s heat. VW mode sets the output from 1 to 40 W; VV mode adjusts voltage between 0.5 and 8 V. This mod is powered by a built-in 2600 mAh battery. It is sold without a tank.

Choose the setting you work with

If your coil specifies a wattage range, VW mode lets you use that reference directly. VV mode is for users who adjust their equipment by voltage. These ranges describe the mod’s capabilities: they do not mean that every available setting is suitable for your coil.

When replacing a coil, check the active mode and return to an appropriate setting before the first puff. Prime the coil according to its manufacturer’s instructions. Then increase the setting in small steps, staying within the recommended limits for that coil.

A battery that charges inside the mod

Charging uses the USB-C port; a cable and user manual are included. There is no separate battery to insert. Place the mod on a stable surface while charging and keep e-liquid away from the connector. For maintenance, wipe the body and its port with a dry cloth.
