How to choose
Complete coil or custom build
A clearomizer takes a ready-to-install coil. On an RTA, you install the coil and the cotton yourself. The dripper gives you access to the build with no conventional tank. Our comparison of the three families covers the steps associated with each option.
Draw and compatibility
The diameter describes the size, not the airflow. Look for the MTL, RDL or DL mention, the airflow adjustment and the coils supported. Then check the connection to the mod and the electrical limits of the build. Two atomizers that look alike do not necessarily share interchangeable consumables.
To prepare for maintenance, note the glass tank (pyrex), the seals and the drip tip for the version you chose. Keep the coil references and their power ranges. You will be able to replace an identified part without redoing the compatibility search each time.
