Vaptio Cosmo coils come in packs of five. The C1, C2 or C4 designation matters as much as the resistance value when checking the correct power range.

Description

Identify the full Cosmo coil reference

The Vaptio Cosmo range includes several replacement coils, supplied in packs of five. Read the full designation on your current coil before selecting a variant. Two models with the same resistance in ohms can require different power settings.

C1, C2 and C4 have separate settings

The 1.6 ohm Cosmo C1 operates from 10 to 15 W. The 0.7 ohm Kanthal C2 requires 15 to 23 W, while the 0.7 ohm C4 Mesh uses a 10 to 20 W range. Switching from a C2 to a C4 therefore means reviewing the setting even though the resistance value is unchanged.

Your chosen reference must also suit the tank in use. Keep the coil packaging available: it helps you identify the same model at your next replacement and check the operating guidance for that version.

Prepare the cotton before heating

A new coil needs to be prepared with the e-liquid you intend to use. Wet the accessible cotton, then let the liquid soak in after filling. Resume use only once the cotton is saturated, following the instructions for the coil you have fitted.
