EX for Exceed: choose by inhalation style
The Joyetech EX coil range is designed for the Exceed tank, including the D19. This pack contains 5 replacement heads. The choice between MTL and DL versions depends on the type of draw you want, rather than only the resistance value printed on the part.
Understanding the EX labels
The EX 1.2 Ω MTL version is for mouth to lung inhalation: vapor is first drawn into the mouth, then inhaled. With the EX 0.5 Ω DL, the draw goes directly into the lungs. Check the label and resistance value in your chosen version before replacing your coil.
Moving from one head to another
Follow the Exceed tank's instructions to remove the used head and fit the new one. Prepare it with e-liquid to wet its wick, then let it soak in the filled tank before activating the battery.
If you change the type of coil, adjust the hardware settings to match the instructions for the new head. Do not keep a setting solely because it suited the previous one. Store the remaining coils with their packaging so their reference stays readable.
