Pamper your gear, avoid unpleasant surprises
When you travel, it is important to do everything you can to avoid damaging your gear. Here is a list of rules to follow depending on the mode of transport.
✈️ Plane:
Like other electronic devices, you must switch off your e-cigarette before takeoff. If you are worried it might turn on in your pocket, remove the battery or also activate the autolock.
Note that pressure differences during the trip affect the liquid in your clearomizer. With air and depending on the liquid's viscosity, leaks can happen quickly. We therefore advise you to remove your clearomizer or pod and put it in a small plastic bag, separate from your box mod or pod system. Close the airflow when possible to limit leaks as much as you can.
🚄 Train, bus and car 🚗 🚍:
For these modes of transport, there is no need to switch off your e-cigarette. However, to avoid unexpected firing, you can switch it off or activate the autolock. This avoids the risks of overheating, leaks and vapor escaping from your pocket!
⛴️ Boats:
If you are on a cruise, you can use your e-cigarette. Be careful: use is governed by the same rules as smoking. So you must vape in the designated areas. Outside those areas, apply the same precautions as when traveling by plane or train.
If you get seasick, avoid holding your vape near the gunwale. If you sway, your vape could fall into the water 🤓
