The recipe

All three flavors are floral, and the tension of the recipe comes from their balance: a violet cream at the center, lotus rounding it out, hibiscus lifting it with its tartness. Al-Kimiya speaks of a love triangle: sweetness and tartness answer each other around the violet.

Preparation and equipment

In the 70 ml bottle, a 10 ml booster at 20 mg/ml brings the liquid to about 3 mg/ml (about 6 mg/ml with two), or about 1.7 mg/ml with a 10 mg/ml booster. Shake, wait a moment, then fill your tank. A 35/65 ratio means 65% vegetable glycerin: keep it for a tank or refillable pod made for VG-dominant liquids.
