Three very different ingredients: the choux pastry of the eclair for roundness, violet for the floral side, lemon for the bright touch. Violet is the tipping point of this recipe: you either love it or you are discovering it, rarely both at once. For a first tasting, try it on its own rather than after another liquid: a floral note fades quickly when the palate is saturated with sugar or menthol.

Preparation and gear

The 70 ml bottle holds 50 ml of nicotine-free liquid, 35/65 PG/VG. For a dosed liquid, add one or two 10 ml boosters sold separately: at 20 mg/ml, one booster puts the total around 3 mg/ml, two around 6 mg/ml. A floral recipe shows to advantage on clean gear at measured power: a fresh coil and a fairly tight draw give the violet notes time to come through.
