The recipe

Pear brings a tender, fruity base, while caramel and chocolate set the sweet side. The aim is the softness of a dessert rather than the crispness of a fruit: Fera is for those who like to end a meal on a sweet note and are not looking for tartness. The Al-Kimiya house does not go into more detail on the nuances, so we stick to these three reference points.

Dosage and equipment

The 70 ml bottle takes one or two 10 ml boosters. At 20 mg/ml, the final blend lands around 3 mg/ml with one booster and around 6 mg/ml with two; with one booster at 10 mg/ml, around 1.7 mg/ml. Close it, shake it, and give it a few minutes before filling the tank. With 65% vegetable glycerin, the liquid is denser than a 50/50: pick a tank or refillable pod made for that kind of viscosity.
